Discover Week

What Is Discover?

Discover Week is an immersive learning experience that invites students and staff to step beyond the classroom and engage the world in meaningful, hands-on ways. Through a variety of travel and local opportunities, Discover Week expands learning, strengthens relationships, and challenges students to grow spiritually, personally, and socially.

Through Discover offerings, students and staff pursue the following goals:

  • Pursue the Mind of Christ
Students focus on spiritual growth by practicing spiritual disciplines and choosing courage and love in new and unfamiliar experiences as they seek to become more like Christ.

  • Honor God’s Creation
Students experience God’s sovereignty over creation by exploring museums, landmarks, and natural environments, while learning to care for others and the world around them.

  • Walk in Excellence and Grace
Students grow in wisdom while traveling and learning alongside peers, encountering daily opportunities to live out the fruit of the Spirit.

  • Practice Servant Leadership
Students dedicate time and energy to serving communities in love and humility, recognizing service as an act of faithful leadership.

Discover Week trips range from local to international experiences, offering a variety of options to match student interests and travel budgets.
