Frequently Asked Questions About the Admissions Process

How does the admissions process work at Central Christian School?
The process starts with an educational consultation, which is simply an opportunity for families to meet with leadership to ask questions, share about their students, and hear about our programs.  Once the educational consultation is complete, families can request an enrollment application.

What grades do you offer?
We serve students from infants through high school, creating a seamless educational journey.

When does enrollment open to new families for the 2026–2027 school year at Central Christian?
New family enrollment opens on Monday, February 2nd.  Please contact the school office or email admissions@centralchristianschools.com to schedule time to meet with leadership and ask questions, and then you can request an application.  

Does Central Christian offer before or after-school care?
Yes. While we don’t have a formal before-school care program, students can be dropped off as early as 7:30am and are supervised until school starts at 8:00am. We offer after-school care for currently enrolled students from 3 - 5:30pm.  For more information, including fees, click here.

Is Central Christian School academically strong?
Yes. Our curriculum exceeds state standards, and students demonstrate consistent academic growth with individualized teacher support.

How is CCS different from other schools?
CCS combines academic rigor, Biblical integration, and real-world application in a unified model that develops both mind and character.

What sports and activities do you offer?
Students in middle school can participate in girls' volleyball, boys' and girls' basketball, student leadership, and can choose two electives each semester representing a wide range of interests from athletics, the arts (both visual and performing), technology, and leadership.  Students in high school can participate in boys’ and girls’ soccer, boys’ and girls’ volleyball, boys’ and girls’ basketball, student leadership, and can also choose two electives each semester representing a wide range of interests from athletics, the arts (both visual and performing), technology, and student leadership.  High school students also participate in Discover Week, which is a week of travel (both local and international) where students develop an appreciation for the world around them while deepening their relationship with their teachers and classmates.

Where is Central Christian School located?
We are in Redmond, Oregon (across from the airport and an easy drive from Bend), serving families throughout Central Oregon, including Bend, Sisters, Terrebonne, and Prineville.

Is CCS a good fit for families new to Christian education?
Absolutely. We welcome families from all backgrounds and partner with parents in faith formation and academic growth.
